The “glass delusion” is an extraordinary psychiatric phenomenon in which people believe themselves to be made of glass and thus liable to shatter. It peaked centuries ago but there are still isolated cases today. Melodic outbursts, complex measures, lyrical heavenly parts with choirs and synths combined with heavy guitar riffs and an astonishing rhythm section are some of the features of “Glass Delusion”!

Escaping from…
“Escaping From…” is the 3rd track of the “Glass Delusion” album. It is about the struggle of someone who experiences a difficult situation after realising that a change is needed. It advocates self awareness and urges one to “break” the glass of confusion and stillness in order to finally escape the imprisonment of the previous poisonous state one was in. The performance of the dancer, Alexandra Papageorgiou, signifies the importance of self awareness. The starting mental preparation leading up to the actual dance with the aerial silks symbolizes a journey through struggle to the change that occurs when one strives for self improvement. The fine directing of Dimitris Mihail along with his beautiful photography and video editing managed to capture and convey all the subtleties of the music and the lyrics of this song, making Sedate Illusion proud for working together as a team.
